Concrete substrate preparation begins on a Las Vegas Casino Pool Deck and Plaza. The ACTECH 2170FC concrete primer will be applied first to eliminate pin holes and outgassing, and to isolate the concrete moisture vapor from the traffic coating system.

Exterior Applications

Roof decks, balconies and plazas are generally constructed using lightweight concrete, elevated pans, and split slabs -- all of which pose major challenges because of their high moisture content.

Similarly, Green Concrete (in new construction) or never-coated/constantly re-wetted concrete exposed to the elements also jeopardizes the installation of roof, traffic, and protective coatings.
